    Default Tangent spline

    Hi,

I try to make a shape. To do that, I need to connect (loft) two bodies togheter.
I want to do this by conduct the loft with a rail. To make the transition smoothly, I use a spline, who is tangent to both circles of the body. For some reason it gifs an error when I try to create the loft (very strange because it isn't the first time I do this proceeding).
(the image will create more clearness)
I hope someone can help me.
I will make him / her very grateful!

    Attach file here.

You might also try a Face Fillet.

I tried a Face Fillet, but it didn't work. Thanks for the tip, I didn't thought about it.
In the annex you will find my file.

The Basbox sketch geometry and the Mid sketch geometry can exist in one sketch.
Since this is a revolution - I recommend you sketch the Basbox sketch 180° from where it is now and with the Mid geometry in the same sketch. Then try making the tangent spline within the same sketch tangent to sketch geometry (rather than Projected geometry).

You might need to (not always) Project Geometry that spline into anothe sketch to use as a rail. (If you have multiple curves in a sketch the first selection for Loft selects the sketch and a second selection is required to select the geometry to use. Sometimes this won't work and you have to Project Geometry the curve into a new sketch by itself.)

I have a couple of other tricks too if this doesn't work.
