mrharris78
Changing the properties of text within attributed blocks through lisp, namely; Text to annotative (in this case, I require 1:1) Text Position Locked Can this be done? The only other alternative is to redefine each block? Cheers, H
irneb
Uhm ... yes ... even in lisp you'd be redefining blocks. BTW, are you sure you want the text inside the block to become annotative? I'd usually leave the attribute/text to be non-anno and set the entire block to be anno as a whole, else you get strange results.
mrharris78
It is for the title block, which, in paper space would not (normally) be annotative. However, I am running a VB Macro to update attributes, and to overcome using the attsync command, making the text annotative seems to work. I have just redefined all of the blocks with a script. Weird, but it works. All good. Thanks for your reply. H.
Dadgad
Glad you were able to sort it out. If you are not familiar with it, this lisp from Lee Mac would probably be a good one to add to your arsenal, there are Edit functions at the bottom of the description. http://www.lee-mac.com/macatt.html or the titleblock one? http://www.lee-mac.com/updatetitleblock.html Thanks Lee!
