command line problem

for (apparently) no reason my taskbar buttons do not work anymore ... if I press save or open I get a command in the command line and have to do everything manually...all the commands have to go through the command line....help!

Yes the dreaded "I've lost my file manager window!"

Set FILEDIA to 1 (for file file open/save, maybe xref?)

Other system variables affecting dialogue boxes:

CMDDIA (for certain commands with d.b.'s)
ATTDIA (for attribute prompts/entry)
