Hi, this is my first post on this site so sorry if this is a little long.

I am currently creating a component library using AutoCAD 2006 Mechanical.
I want to utilse the BOM database facility (trying to avoid any customised VBA or diesel programing if possible).
I have started by creating dynamic blocks with embedded part referrences.
This seems to only work for components with preset integer quantites.
I have components which have variable decimal quanties (user defined quantites).
I am finding it impossibe to link these quanities into the BOM database and part list.
Is is possible to use block attributes and link these to the BOM database?

Can anyone please give me some suggestions help me out with this?
