stuarthamson
Hi there Just started a new job today and it's working on 2006 it's like a step back in time from 2011. I'm tring to set up my middle button 3dorbit on my mouse and it's totally stumped me, anyone got any ideas or can point me to a thread where i can sort it? I've used CUI and setup my button3 to ^P'_3DORBITTRANSPARENT ^P but this hasn't worked just says unknown command. cheers
ReMark
Aren't you supposed to also be pressing the Shift key? It is Shift+Middle mouse button. Did you set the Command Display Name to 3DORBITTRANSPARENT in the CUI?

Dadgad
Welcome to the forum. The usual way is to hold down the SHIFT key and also hold down the mouse wheel, at the same time, but I am reasonably sure you already know that.
SLW210
Could be the mouse software, what brand mouse and what program, if any, are you using?
f700es
Yes check to see any 3rd party mouse software is installed. If so, disable it and see if that resets the the mouse.
rkent
I am not familiar with that command, but if you want a command to work in transparent mode use '3dorbit Note the single quote mark in front of the command.
