almondjoy
How do I make Diameter and radius symbols when annotating?
Dadgad
Welcome to the forum. For the Diameter sign %%C. For Radius, just use a capital letter R. If you are dimensioning, just use the specific DIMENSION tool for that purpose. When your TEXT FORMATTING dialog is open, click on the circled arrow at the right end, then select symbols to access a flyout of many common ones, just click on the one you want, and you can also see their codes if you want to KNOW them. stevsmith
Remember when overwriting a dimension to add the Diameter symbol to use to maintain the dimension. Small Sample. Draw a line at 150mm and add a dimension. Enter %%C 150 this will overwite the dimension. Stretch the line 50mm. The dimension will still read 150mm although the line length is actually 200mm. Do the same again using %%C This will automatically update the dimensionwhen stretched.
