I haven't used the software since CAD R10 back in the stone age so this is a huge learning experience for me. I am trying to duplicate a "simple" drawing assignment. (Please see docx attached) There are no limits given, no scale and no units ..... On top of that dilemma I'm not sure if i need to use the fillet command to make the curved section joining the two circles. f700es Posted September 23, 2012 Share Posted September 23, 2012 Well don't worry about limits this is old terminology. As for scale always draw one to one or full scale. I've tried the fillet command and I can't get the "S" shape joining the 2 circles. I have created the circles on the right easily and then copied them and moved them to the left hand side (as per the indicated grid) but I'm uncertain as to the commands involved to create the "S" curve to join the circles together ..... and in proportion to the indicated grids on the diagram. thanks for the quick reply too! In my example the circles that I'm trying to "marry" with the "S" curve are one circle half inside the other. (top pic is what I need to re-create and bottom is what I have so far) I tried the TTR but I can't get it to work ..... it asks for a radius and I have no idea what it would be.
