i'm new to to AutoCAD as im studying civil engineering in my country , i had a lot of difficulties in the program & i wanted to ask for a help in this design that i couldn't manage to do it as it seems a pain for me , i tried everything but nothing
tried doing some offset & drawing circles
& this design should be done tomorrow cause this is an assignment
so any help in this one please ?![]()

Welcome to the forum.
Yeah, between the 18 & 36 dimensions on the top like nod said, and you will need a few dimensions
at the bottom, one showing the overall width, one from the left corner to the center of the circle
and another one from either side of the part to the notch at the bottom.
Volume and repetition do not validate opinions forged in the absence of thought.
i know it seems easy , but i had been through some sickness in the 1st weeks of my university which made me absent & dont know that much on how to do this
well that's how the teacher gave us the design , i even noticed it now !

i traced the image and here is what i got
actually the image does not conform with the dimension especially the 18 diameter which is 40 from the bottom

if not, hopefully one of the mods can do it. (Tiger?)
