Caspy
I am hoping I have placed this in the correct area. If not sorry but I am a newbie. I have just spent the last 6 hours downloading the student autocad 2011 and find when I click on the "Install Products" on the left hand side of the launch page it comes up with an error message saying "You cannot install this product on the current operating system". I checked the system requirements and saw that mine were correct yet this happens. I haven't been able to activate or anything because it hasn't finished installation. Anyone can help I would be most grateful, especially after spending so long (very slow internet here!) Thanks in advance. Carolyn
ReMark
What website did you download the software from? My guess is you downloaded a 64-bit version and you are trying to install it on a 32-bit system.
Caspy
Your guess is correct! Will try again tomorrow with the 32bit installation. Thanks for your quick reply
