KarolR
In an assembly i made a sketch with points. Now i activated the hole wizard, but cannot select these points. I can't dimension, during hole creation and even later, the hole to anything. Does this wizard just enable me to make holes where the mouse pointer is? it doesn't snap to anything
JD Mather
Click on the second tab - Positions. Check the sketch point creation It should already be checked. (you already have your points so just click on the to create coincident relations with the hole centers). Now you should be able to select your points. The Hole Wizard creates holes in two different ways. 1. if you start the command without pre-selecting a planar face it uses a 3D sketch (not usually recommended unless face not planar) 2. pre-select a planar face and then start the Hole Wizard and it uses 2D sketch for creation. KarolR
No, i don't have any other tab. there isn't a tab, nor Sketch Point Creation or whatever. I made a sketch but the hole wizard doesn't snap to the points. it says the point is in the sketch plane and cannot be extruded. The Simple Hole wizard is useless

KarolR
oh, i know this dialog box, indeed i used it, but the Simple Hole creation wizard doesn't have such a complex dialog box. it only tells you to select a plane, that's all
