nnutting
So the title fairly sums it up. When I'm traveling and working in AutoCAD there are multiple ways that AutoCAD will freeze: 1) If I try to 'saveas' a drawing...nothing happens and I have to force AutoCAD to shut down. 2) Using printer DWGtoPDF...nothing happens and I have to force AutoCAD to shut down. If I'm connected through VPN to the server (as I am when I'm working from home)...I don't have these issues. I looked through all the search paths under the 'files' tab under options and I can't find any paths linked to any of my office servers. Thoughts? Suggestions? pendean
How long have you waited for SAVEAS to resolve? My guess is you're not waiting long enough for Windows to resolve the issue.Same with the printer selection.
Pablo Ferral
AutoCAD may be looking for a plotter that is defined in your DWG file. Set the defualt plotter to 'none' before you transfer it offline. You can do this automatically using the 'Archive' or 'Etransmit' tools.
