    Default 3 d hose

    Hello

    i am looking to do make a hose with wire braid on it.
    Please help me how can create it am using Proe 5.0

    There is an atachment that kind of hose am working on it.Please help am new in it.

    This type of flexible s.s. braided hose was the topic of a thread earlier this year I believe. You might try searching for the thread. I know it did not deal with making the hose using ProE however. Most likely the discussion centered around Inventor and AutoCAD. I'm assuming we are talking 3D right? Will there be a quick disconnect at each end?

    yes i already find that thread ......but i dont get exact idea from that .......But i am using proe 5.0.........So please let me how i can work on proe to make this hose.l.......

    If i have to make this hose in Autodesk inventor i have that one two ......how can createthat 3D Hose with wire braiding on it.......Please give your suggestions....

    Refresh my memory. What was the idea? I thought the easiest way to do it would involve applying a material (s.s. braid) to a 3D hose then render it.

    "In Inventor we would use a cosmetic texture (material) applied to the sweep. Looks like the real thing without the overhead of modeled geometry. Then use shaded view (not rendered - shaded)."

    I suggest you follow his suggestion if you are going to do it in Inventor.
