    Default HELP:extruding with path

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I drew spiral out of several curved lines and now I want to extrude it. I am using spiral for extrusion path and a circle for extrusion's basis. But there comes the problem-I cannot extrude it. I guess it's because spiral consists of many curved lines and not just one. Therefore I would like to know, how do I join all those curved lines to be recognized as only one???

    Hello Knez

Start the 3DPOLY command and with the runing osnap set to END click the endpoints of the lines. This way you will draw a 3D polyline over the existing lines and you will be able to extrude a circle along it.

And just if no one told you before: welcome!

Use the file manager to upload a drawing. Preferable save it back in AutoCAD 2000 or even 14 format -it will be accessible for more people. Post here the hyperlink.
