The trick with any software is not go get "faster" but to get more efficient. Unfortunately, efficienct only comes with time and practice (assuming that you have attended a CAD class and have been shown the most common procedures). If you don't feel you are quick enough, it's probably because you are not familar enough with the software - perhaps you need more training.
Tip: Please do not PM or email me with CAD questions - use the forums, you'll get an answer sooner.

    malki,
i agree with cadtutor, efficiency is the key! and it so recently applies to me.
if you read my initial post you will see i had a problem that is now solved.
what i was doing was laboriously changing the dimenson style in each drawing i created. this took alot of time because the dimstlye manager contains a huge amount of information.
now i simply drag and drop the whole style into my new drawing.
the keystrokes saved are one thing, the mental energy to tackle the chore was downright costly.
i am one more step efficient.
so, seek more training and read this forum from end to end, you'll find it is full of excellent queries and info.
    good luck!

Efficiency is officially output/input so less work for same result and "Bingo"; you are more efficient. Oh!! by the way, you get faster too.

    keystrokes, use your keyboard commands
If you would like to help my 2 year old niece Alaina in her battle against Leukemia you can donate blood at any Carter Blood Care and put SPON050875 on the donor form. Thank you so much for any contributions in this matter that you can make.

the drop down menues take too long to sift trough and the buttons are a pain if someone moves your bars around(i am sure no one does that) the keyboard is by far the most efficent way to do it, and you can costomize the commands, i love that feature.

not to mention that when you start going from version to version you wont have to hunt for commands once you've modified your pgp to your liking, i do have a custom toolbar i use, it consists of a hodge podge of usefule buttons mostly dimension and property stuff , ya know those things you have to slow down for anyway, other than that all i have up is the layer manager, i axe everything else for optimum screen usage
