Anybody know how to set the "dim outside align" variable to "off" in the dimension style? Right now I'm just changing it for any text that happens to go outside the extension lines, but it'd be nice to change the default. We're running AutoCAD 2000 LT, but if you know a way to set it in the full version, pass it along anyway -- I'm crossing my fingers for an upgrade soon. :-)
Thanks!

Found it -- DIMTOH makes any text outside the dimension lines horizontal. Now I just gotta go put it in all our standard styles...:-)

I just had to find out a bit more on this variable, have a llok at the link below it describes the settings for DIMTOH.It also has some other dimesnioning info:

Okay -- I didn't realize what the ISO standard actually did, since the sample dimensions in the dialog box don't show any where the text is outside the extension lines -- except the radial dimension, which I thought was an exception. :-) Anyway, I think I've got it all straightened out now -- thanks again. :-)
