kksalmi
Some advises needed.. I am trying to convert 3D mesh from DELFTSHIP (FREESHIP) in autocad 2012 to surfaces to be able to export it to igs.. for milling with SURFCAM I was finally able to convert all my model objects to either planar surfaces or surfaces, and export actually gave an igs.. BUT following warning was poping up some time in aruba during the conversion: WARNING: An imput CLOSED_SHELL is not properly defined. It contains an edge which is not used by two oriented edges in the shell. This is not valid in a properly closed shell. Marking its form as open. Is this type of messages common.. should I be worried (13k€ model will be milled for my thesis work).. the 3d model should have no holes.
