Default Land Desktop 2006 - Polyline lost in paperspace.

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Hi all,

I'm using Land Desktop 2006 to edit an existing drawing. Somehow I caused a section of a polyline that shows just fine in model space to disappear from paper space. All my layers are turned on. I can select the polyline in paper space and see the endpoints of the hidden sections.

Any suggestions on how to make these hidden sections visible would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA

    David

Is this a draworder thing where something else is in "front" of the polyline?

Is there a wipeout hiding it?

How can you select the endpoints if it's hidden?

Could there be a 3DFace at a higher elevation than the polyline, hiding it?

Thanks for getting back to me so fast RK.

I didn't find anything in front of the polyline. I didn't add anything new to this part of the drawing.

    I'll look for/into wipeouts, thanks.

If I select one of the visible sections of the polyline the endpoints of the hidden section are shown as selected.

I've reverted to a backup to solve the problem.

Go to paperspace and double click on the viewport you want the polyline to appear. From within the viewport open up layer manager and check that the layer on which the object is is thawed, and not frozen in the viewport. Also check that the layer is a printable layer.
...funny how I didn't see that one coming...

Select the line. Hit Ctrl+1, check the layers in there.
