Default Contractor looking to use AutoCAD

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

Hi there, my first post here(long-time lurker). I am a contractor and am starting to use AutoCAD on my own at home. I was wondering if anyone could e-mail or send me in the right direction of some pre-made AutoCAD house drawings(in .dwg format of course). I would like to download some to get used to manipulating the plans within the program, but don't want to start with making one from scratch. Thanks in advance

What version of AutoCAD are you using?

Will you be using AIA standards for layer naming or coming up with your own?

    I'm using AutoCAD LT 2002

I'll take whatever type of plans I can get, just as long as they are workable in CAD...thanks again

I have a house plan I did for Habitat for Humanity. It was done in AutoCAD 2004 using model/paper space. Would you be interested?
