Can you tell me why My Delta X is off? My first line, referred to in the instructions on page 5 as POB, starts at this point and will extend up and slightly to the left which is equivalent to a direction of northwest actually goes back to left, not up.

If your line is pointing in the wrong direction it's possible you have the direction of North set incorrectly in UNITS.

See posts #4, 5, 6 and 7 of this thread (the one you are currently posting to) on how to get started with this project.

I don't think that I do. Here is a snip of my UNITS. it shows the direction of the line behind it, then I also included a snip of my boundary layer which

is also in wrong direction.

For the line to be drawn correctly 0 degrees should be to the east, 90 degrees would then be north, 180 degrees would be west and 270 degrees would be south.

I really appreciate the help. I am just struggling with this part, I hope once I get it figured out it will go smooth. Where do I go to set the degrees for E, N, W, S. I even tried to start a new project to see if I had settings wrong, and I had the same result. I am sure I am something wrong, I just don't know where. thanks in advance.

It bears repeating, start by looking at posts #4 through 7 of THIS thread. That will get you started in the right direction figuratively speaking.
