gcp310 Posted September 28, 2003 Share Posted September 28, 2003 Yes you can, a few years back i came across a webpage that showed a way of formatting an excel sheet for data entry, then a simple cut and paste onto the command line enabled autocad to insert points to the correct x,y & z locations. It would be great if it it could be tied into a lisp routine to create a mesh for terrain modeling. Welcome to the forum, if no one has said already. This file just draws circles in a pattern, but you get an idea of how it works. http://www.geocitiesdotcom/flores_2793@sbcglobaldotnet/Points.xls Replace the word "dot" (used twice) with an actual dot.
