how to print and view .plt files

hello every one,

i have received some .plt files from the clients,

how to open them and how to print them,

what is basic purpose of using or creating plt files,

can we take prints from this plt file even with out autocad?

a .plt file is created when you tick the box on plot preview to plot to file, not sure if you can plot these you might need to get the client to resend in.dwf which you can open in Autocad viewer.
