RBPrice
The materials selection table in ACAD Mechanical 2D is woefully inadequate. For instance, the list of aluminum alloys shows no listing for something like 2024-T4 which has a Yield strength of 50Kpsi or 7075-T6 which is 73Kpsi. Does anyone know of a way to edit that list? JD Mather
You might ask here on how to add materials. I am sure there is a way, but I use Inventor for FEA, so my certainty could be flawed. http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Mechanical/FEA-3D/td-p/1921048
RBPrice
Thanks JD - and it is interesting that someone removed my question about talking directly to Autodesk about the problem: wonder why?
