AutoCAD MEP 2013 Part Question

This is my first time posting so I am not sure if this is in the right category. I am trying to create undefined ductwork in AutoCAD MEP 2013 with single line. Then convert it into double line using the Calculate Duct Sizes. It always converts my branches into Tee's with a 90 Degree Angle. Is there a way to have it use a wye or create a custom Tee that can use a 45 Degree Angle?

Thanks

I am taking a guess here but what I think it does it take the parts available in your routing preference for the line you are sizing. You will need to set the routing preference up correctly in order for the sizer to choose the correct part.

Under routing preference it only gives me the option for Tee or branch. There is no option for a wye. Also all the Tee's can only be set up at a 90 degree angle.

If you're wanting the calculations to account for Wye's, then you might be hoping for a little too much. In my experiences, transitions or straght tees are one thing. Reducing tees or even wye's can be too much.

FWIW, running manual loads and calculations is still faster. :)
