gunther Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 In my line of work i use an autocad block and i show it on a floor plan in several places. the block is a secondary component or daughter component and gets numbered in order numerically with a simple 1.1. 1.2 1.3 where 1. is the parent component number and 1.1 or 1.2 is the blocks identifying number or daughter component. Is there a way to automate the number of the secondary components. This might be tricky because i do it manually now by selecting them each and type it in as part of a block attribute Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a few other programs i need to accomplish that i would have to hire out because our work load is to much. do you know anyone who does that?
