How do i create an app online CAD based???

Hi,
I'm don't have any knowledge in AutoCad stuff's and at my work i'm needing to present a solution where my client's website will have an application that simulates places ( kitchen, living room, sitting room, etc) and where site's user will have a store of different tiles wich he can drop to the place. This will be all in 3D ambience. If only you could tell me what is the technical process, because I have to explain the programmer how the project will proceed and i have no idea. You could also give me some sites Where i can learn some more about this.

if there's a way to do what you're wanting with CAD, then i never knew of one. not interactive like that.

sounds more like a Flash/Java/Shockwave application. if general layouts is what you're wanting to achieve (from the user end) then that will be the best way.

I think I have seen AutoCAD drawings in PowerPoint presentations, but werent very interactive.

I think you'd be better considering some web specific format such as VRML. There are lots of options but they all require some sort of plugin.
