custom icons for dimension

Hello,

How can I keep the same distance between the dimension line to an object. So that when I draw a dimension line it will be drawn exactly the distance from an object. I switch from AutoCAD 2000 to 2006 and I "lost" custom icons for dim. I know I have to use lisp, but I'm not really familiar with that. Can somebody help me to create dim icons again?
