Casio47
Hello All, Simple Question, for which I do not have an answer for: 1. I draw a simple 5.0" circle 2. I convert the circle to a block 3. I open the circle in block editor 4. Under Block Authoring Pallet, Geometric Constraints, I choose the diameter which shows 5.0". 5. If I double click and hi-light the 5.0" dimension and change to 3.0", the circle changes to 3.0" 6. when I save and close Block Editor, my original 5.0" circle is still 5.0" and not 3.0"...Why? Thanks for the help

dbroada
if its not too embarrasing it is nicer on these type of posts if you give the "why" so others can learn.

In this case, a couple of possible ways to cause this are: 1. Fail to save the changes in the Block Editor. 2. Retain the original object(s) but think you chose Convert to block. I don't know if a suppressed regen might fool you here as well. :oops:Embarrassing? Maybe. Even a seasoned user might make the mistake, but would very probably figure it out without asking in the forum. Then again...
Casio47
While in block Editor, I annotated diameter dimensions. When I changed the dimensions in the constraint, it then changed the dimension in the annotation as well. closing Block editor, the dimensions on the annotation inside block editor carried to the model space annotations with the new diameter.
