I have trouble with mentionate it Copy- Paste of a 2D dwg. Whenever I try it happens nothing. I did not make any modifications of the dwg. So I have no idea why AutoCad is behaving so rude.

I need help ASAP and any solution is welcome. I need to try everything at this moment.

Thank you in advance for help

What are you pasting into? If ACAD, if you don't have time to figure it out, wblock what you need, then insert it into your other drawing.

Thank you folks. I have tried your suggestions and it happens nothing. Even in the wblock case. I have trouble only with this particular dwg.

I post it my message when I lost my initiative and imagination to solve the rpoblem.

I can go on working on the dwg. but when it comes to copy/paste into another dwg. does not work. What on Earth happened?

What if you do any of the following:
Select the drawing and drag the contents into new drawing?
How about XREF the contents to another drawing?
I guess you have purged and checked the drawing for errors. How do you copy and paste?Do you use the windows shortcuts CTRL+C for copy CTRL+V for paste, maybe they have been redefined?

try DXFOUT and then DXFIN to take bits out to another DWG etc.

I think I figured out what is happening. The dwg. in cause went backward and forward between ACD2000 and 2004. Still something does not work well. Anyone encounting the same or another similar inconvenince as in above case?

I am going to try Mr. T solution and let you knnow how it works.

I imagine that you have a virus called BLASTER. These virus don't let operate with COPY and PASTECLIP in AutoCAD and others programs...

I hope that you solve the problem...
