Default Printing on large paper (13x19)

    Hi all,
I am new to this group and applogize in advance if I do something wrong...
I have a client using AutoCad LT and an HP inkjet cp1700.
suddenly, my client cannot print on large sheets of paper (normal size works) . when she prints to a large sheet, the paper comes out blank.
Is there specific settings (although she claims she hasnt touched any settings) that would not allow her to print on the 13x19 sheets?

if i print a test page from windows, it appears to work fine (paper feeds through and the xp test page prints). This is why i believe it to be an Autocad issue.

one more thing... the lcd display on the printer is not working and i am thinking maybe the printer is at issue here....

any comments or suggestions would be greatfully appreciated..

    thanks to all

Before playing with any settings, you may want to verify that the settings are at least supposed to work via the plot preview utility. If the plot preview shows the drawing correctly, and still doesn't print correctly, then you most likely have a custom paper setting that is causing problems. (13" x 19" is not a standard paper size on my system) I tend to stick with the paper sizes that are standard to the system in order to avoid problems with custom paper sizes, because they are very temperamental. Try using an ARCH B size that is 12" X 18", and see if it works. If it does, then your paper setting need adjusting.

It sounds as though the printer is the problem. You may want to go to the HP website and ensure the drivers are up to date. Beyond that, I'm not really sure what you can do to fix the problem. It is doubtful that AutoCAD is to blame for a completely blank sheet. Perhaps a drawing that is oriented incorrectly, or cut off, but very rarely a blank sheet.
