    Wink Block creation help

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I'm working with Autocad 2011. My objective is to create a dynamic block made up of a circle with a letter or number inside. Here's the tricky part. As I add additional letters or numbers the circle increases in diameter automatically to fully encircle whatever it is I type. The more letters or numbers the larger the circle and the fewer the letters or numbers the smaller the circle? Can you help?

Or is there a lisp routine for this type of request?

    Thanks

Dynamic block can't just resize object automatically. It needs user interaction.
You can scale the circle using scale action, but it won't be automatic.

Take a look at the Express tool named "Tcircle" it will draw a circle around text no matter what length the text is. Also let you use a rectangle and more options as to the offset and etc.

If the dimensional constraints can pick up nodes on the text you may be able to add a dimensional constrain there.

I like the T circle command if that's the best anyone can come up with.Hi Mike. I'm not following you, sorry. Please explain further.

    Thanks
