tzframpton
I have 3ds Max Design 2013 installed at home using one of our home use licenses. These licenses are usually for a 12 month period, and they expire. I just sat down and opened up the application and it's now expired but I can't find a way to update to the new license information. I have the new info from logging into my company's VPN. Worst case scenario I gotta wait until Monday to get with our Autodesk software admin, but had an open evening as well as a free day tomorrow to fiddle around and thought I'd see if someone knew so I could get some much needed personal time in. Thanks in advance!
harrison-matt
Usually the about dialog will have a models dialog for licensing. Here you can see about borrowing licenses, identifying licenses servers, etc etc. I haven't heard of Autodesk or re-sellers citing a 'home use' license. That sounds more of a company nomenclature. It does sound like you borrowed a license. Make sure you are connected to the domain so flexnet can check another for you. Best of luck. When I run through all the possible prompts there's no option to update the license - just stays stuck on the current license. I haven't heard of Autodesk or re-sellers citing a 'home use' license. I work for a very large company and we have home licensing options available to us with specific licensing information.
