HELP with .cad file?!

It appears AutoCad changes it every three years so we can't do that? At least older programs reading newer files.

Hi Mark, I am not sure where you are going with this. Current AutoCAD has no problem reading older DWG files. It also has a good range of DWG versions that it can save back to.

It's is also able to export out to a wide range of other formats if needed.

Just letting you know. Good to hear that DraftSight seems to be working for you. :)

 

Good info from Dana on TrueView/TrueConvert. Good utilities to have on hand.
