I understand how to freeze all of the parts that I don't want in a viewport but how can I do the same for a base view? I would like to have one layout with an exploded overview of all the parts and then a separate layout for each of the parts. The topic of an exploded view was just covered earlier this week and should still be around. I suggest you find and read through the thread.
