Annotative power dimensions

Hello all,

fortunately I've not required help with autocad very often but my company has recently shelled out on the autodesk product design suite (under my guidance) and decided to put me on an inventor training course, win.

so what i'm trying to do is get to grips with autocad mechanical as alot of tool on there suit my standards of drawing and my style of drawing, my only problem is power dimensions, i cant seem to make them annotative, no matter how much i change the standards in AMoptions. i use the power dimension it creates a temporary non-annotative style called something like "ISO$0" if i use the ISO standard.

is there a fix for this to streamline my work or should i stick to standard autocad annotative dimensions and forget about the beautiful but temperamental tools of mechanical?
