problem with layer merge

I have in cad2014 laymrg .it dont act well . thre is th report action after run the command::

 

Command: LAYMRG
Select object on layer to merge or [Name]:
Selected layers: 0ROS.
Select object on layer to merge or [Name/Undo]:
Select object on target layer or [Name]: n
Regenerating model.
** Glyph not defined at: \U+0054.
** Glyph not defined at: \U+0020.
** Glyph not defined at: \U+0046.
** Glyph not defined at: \U+0054.
** Glyph not defined at: \U+0020.
** Glyph not defined at: \U+0046.

and i dont know how i can fix it?o:)

Have you tried the merge layer option in the layer manager (layerdlgmode needs to set to 1)? I am curious if you will get the same message.

I think that is a new option, rkent.

 

I don't have a solution but this may help.

 

"Glyph" is a symbol and "\U+00**" is Unicode used in text. My guess is that you got this file from an external source and there is a font in it that you don't have. Instead of using layer merge, can you just select the objects on that layer and change the layer designation?

It is new in 2014, I am not sure what you are getting at. The OP says they are using 2014 in the post.

Oops sorry, his profile says 2011. That's what I thought he was using. My eyes weren't open enough, yet. BTW, I can't wait to use that new feature.
