pqphillips
Okay guys... I'm working on a system where I have power coming out of a device and hitting a busbar. I have the busbar as a separate layer and have added it as a wire type to the system. The issue I have is having it come out the device as a regular wire and attach to the busbar. When I do this, ACADE switches the wire to be on the busbar layer. Anyone know how to alleviate this?
alanjt
Are you doing this by filleting two plines?
pqphillips
Nope. Basic wire connection with a connection dot. Not polylines.
ReMark
Did you try using the Change/Convert Wire Type command?
pqphillips
If I do that, it changes the wire and the busbar into the selected wire type.
dbroada
can the busbar be defined as a terminal rather than a wire?
ReMark
I'm guessing that Change All Wire(s) in the Network is currently enabled right? What if you were to disable it?
pqphillips
can the busbar be defined as a terminal rather than a wire? I'd rather not do that... I'm guessing that Change All Wire(s) in the Network is currently enabled right? What if you were to disable it? That did it! I had to manually select all the segments and crossover loops, but it worked! Thanks, man!
ReMark
Another correct albeit wild guess! LoL You're entirely welcomed.
