Previously i used a programme KTF7 (Key Terra Firma). this was great as it allowed for ease of Long Sections and volume of excavtion etc.. but i am now without this programme and wondering if CAD can behave in the same way? plotting the points and then somehow to triangulate the profile of the ground. Tyke Posted July 15, 2013 Share Posted July 15, 2013 To do what you want you need to have AutoCAD Civil 3D, vanilla AutoCAD connot do it. You can do certain operations from the CadTools program which is free and available from http://www.glamsen.se/CadTools.htm Give them a try and see if they meet your Needs.
