Tyke
After experiencing Problems when starting AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 I decided to re-install it. I followed the advice of Autodesk and did a clean uninstall. I then started the Installation from the DVD and when the window comes with the choices of what to install AutoCAD is shown as already installed, even though it is not. Checking Control Panel > Software there are no Autodesk products listed in the installed Software. I'm running on a new high end Laptop with W8. Has anybody else experienced such a Problem or knows of a solution?
nestly
Out of curiosity, which method did you use to uninstall? This or this
Tyke
Thanks nestly, I used the second one. I have managed to sort it out. I downloaded the Microsoft Tool "Fix it" which found four AutoCAD components that were not fully de-installed and then de-installed them completely. A full Installation of AutoCAD then went as expected. All seems well.
