    Default Lining up dimensions with a 3d object

    I need to dimension a line in the Z plane in the northeast view. The dimension is currently perpindicular to the dimension line. Can anyone tell me how to make it paralell with the dimension line. Thanks much

    Change the orientation of your UCS. It can be done manually or via the Dynamic UCS feature found at the bottom left hand side of your screen.
