lknchoppers
Hello, I am using AutoCAD LT 2012. I am having a problem getting a drawing to be the proper scale and units. I pulled a drawing in and it has been drawn 1' = 1 unit. I really would like to get it so I can make 1 unit = 1". I need to preserve the current dimensions in the drawing. What would be the best approach to be able to do this. Thank You.
ReMark
Are you working with a paper space layout and at least one viewport?
rkent
Without the drawing this is a guess. Scale everything in MS by 12. Edit the dimstyle and change from Decimal to Architectural. Post the drawing or a small sample for a better answer.
Dadgad
Welcome to CADTutor. I don't know if LT has the -DWGUNITS command (with the hyphen), or not. If you enter -DWGUNITS at the commandline, and the command is recognized, then take your time, read and follow the commandline prompts, and you will be walked through the whole process in about 4 to 6 steps. Has it. Works fine.
