bobby36
After many attempts at running AutoCad 2008lt on windows 8 I've have found out that it is not compatable. Now running on windows 7 and I'm having problems with the Mtext edit. ie when I type a word it shows blank but it will still show an underscore if selected. Now running on windows 7 and I'm having problems with the Mtext edit. ie when I type a word it shows blank but it will still show an underline if selected. Do I need to install a VM software platform so I can revert back to xp? Any ideas as I don't wish to buy a whole new program at this stage. Autodesk say they can't help??? They are not doing updates for 2008.
ReMark
Why would you expect AutoDesk to help? Support for AutoCAD 2008 was dropped some time ago which may account for the fact that you don't see any recent service packs being issued. For tips and tricks on how to get older versions of AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT to work properly in Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 visit this website and start reading... http://www.longbowsoftware.com/Tips_and_Tricks.php
ReMark
When you installed LT 2008 did you also download and install the latest service pack?
