kltanker
I've tried to set a simple point in model space. I typed PO - enter - typed a pair of coords into the 2 boxes, and then enter. No point was created. What am I doing wrong?

eldon
No point was created. What am I doing wrong? You are not doing anything wrong. The point is there, you just cannot see it. AutoCAD, in their wisdom, set the default Point shape to be a dot. So you just have to change the Point type shape as in the previous post. ReMark
Even if you change the point style you may also have to change the point size depending on what you are drawing.
kltanker
John 7911: your advice worked. After trial & error my procedure: type ddptype - enter - set pt size - check set size relative to screen - enter - type po - enter - click a desired point loc. The result will be the point style & size specified. Thank you for the help.
