CarlB
Try this: Using the menu, Tools>>Options>>User Preference>>Windows Standard behavior, check "Windows Std accelerator keys"

kpblc
> chubster41 : I think this error generated by Proxy-objects. You can't copy-paste proxy objects. But if you'll explode them, contents of proxy-objects will be available for Copy-Paste operations.
Groutie
Hmm, I'm probably showing my age, but 'ctrl+c' used to mean cancel, same as 'esc'. I'm sure things have moved on
Tom1024
I have this troubles with ctrl+c and ctrl+v too. Finally I find out that it is block maked from 3d objects contains ARX objects. When I explode that block or remove it from the selection, ctrl+c and ctrl+v works correctly.
