Create a basic list

I want to create just a basic list with rows and colums. Ther must be some function in AutoCad that helps me do that?

Is thera any way to change the height of the column? Change by properties wont work.

Do you mean where the Title or the Headers might go?

Rows have height while columns have width.

I want the spacing (height) between the rows to be 6.18mm not 7.56mm.

Click on the table and check either Quick Properties or Properties and change the value for Table Height.

Look at the image below.

Select the rows you want to change and change the value in the properties (highlighted in red). This works for me.

I have tried to change "cell height" but the first value just pop back up.

Refer to the image in post #7. See that blue arrow pointing down in the lower left hand corner? It can be used to uniformly stretch table height.

That doesent work either. It is like the table is locked or something.

I don't know then. Before adding a table, check the settings, maybe there is something that makes the cells height and width fixed or not, I rarely use tables so I'm not that experienced with them.

Try what Remark suggests, although this changes the table height rather than being able to specify row height, you should still be able to get it close to your requirements.

It's a brand new table so I don't see why you would have a problem.

Attach a copy of your drawing with just the table (nothing else) in it to your next post.

Restarted AutoCad and now it works. Strange. Thanks anyway guys .

Odd indeed, one of those little quirks that often pop up. As for locking format, I tested that but I was still able t adjust the height and width.

Maybe that option is there just to make the user feel good. LoL

I would never think to lock the format since I don't share drawings with tables in them.
