Default importing attriubutes from excell to a autocad drawing

I have a spreadsheet text file which contains attributes in rows. Some are single entry cells and others separated by a comma. The rows also contain the generic drawing number to be updated and its new name to be saved as. There are multiple rows with different drawings to be updated. Could anyone supply me with some sample code in VBA to do this automatically - I've read that if you don't know LISP programing - learn with VBA. I have looked around various sites for info on this but to no avail. I would be gratefull for any kind of advice

Try this add-on. It may help. They have a demo you can play with.
