Batch Attribute changer & forgiving batch plot program?

Does anyone have on know where I can find a good batch attribute changer for autocad 2004. Something that will change a attribute field in many drawings at once. Some that is easy to use?
Does anyone have or know where I can find a good batch plot program for autocad 2004. The batch plot that comes with autocad hangs up if a drawing is saved in an improper layout. The batch plot that comes with autocad (Using publish command") allows the user to choose between model & paper space layout. If one drawing is saved in an improper layout, Autocad rountine will hang up and give an error. Maybe there is a program that is more forgiving with this problem and plot a complete set of drawings no matter of an incorrect drawing layout.
Any solutions to these problems?

There is another way to batch plot drawings, it need not create layouts but need your title is drawed by polyline or block or Xref. It is more convenient than publish, take a try!

Besides, the attribute you want to batch modify is the same attribute in a same kind block?
