Are you sure they are AEC objects?

You cannot convert the following objects or blocks:

  • Objects with no integral 3D presence, such as building grids or cameras
  • 3D sections
  • Objects in a block or an external reference
  • Custom display blocks created from 3D solids

For more information, see “Create 3D Solids” in AutoCAD Help.

Could this be related to the other problem you had?

Hi, actually i made a silly mistake, What last time i did was convoto3dsolids command which converted the aec objects into 3d solids, but this time i mistakely used convotosolid command which was not the correct command. However the problem solves with convoto3dsolids command. Thanks
