CADeGraff Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 I have a part I would like to have prototyped on a 3D printer but the part appears to have grown. My drawing shows the part is 2 inches tall but when I save the file to the .stl format (on a flash drive for transportation) the facility with the printer tells me the part is 5 inches tall....how is this possible? JD Mather Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 When saving - always click on Options to set the Units for export as suggested.
