For a video about creating a development of a prism and deriving its true shape see this.... Your posts mentioned the word prism and cylinder and I've given you links to both. If you know drafting then you should be able to handle drawing either (or both). ReMark Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 And just in case you really were inquiring about slicing a 3D cylinder one option would be to use a surface which in the image above is just a line that was extruded.
