Maybe the path to the plot styles is missing. Did you check?

Options > Files > Printer Support File Location > Plot Style Table Search Path. Anything showing?

Yeap if I double click the "Plot Style Table Search Path" I can see the path

C:\Users\myname\appdate\roaming\autodesk\autocad 2011\r18.1\enu\plot styles

That's a start.

Now copy the path and put it in Explorer so you can browse the contents of the folder to determine what is or isn't there.

Well I was thinking more like a network one would find at work.

Then it isn't a case of the path being wrong or someone (IT person) moving the folder.

Were you rooting around in AutoCAD folders for some reason?

Alright...different approach.

Using Explorer look under Program Files > AutoCAD 2011 > UserDataCache > Support > Plotters > Plot Styles. Do you see the files there? There should be 13 of them.

Well you should have a UserDataCache right where I said it would be found unless you deleted it. These things don't up and delete themselves. Are you sure you looked in the right location?

Type STYLESMANAGER at the command prompt and press Enter. What, if anything, appears on your screen?

Do a REPAIR of your installation. Do NOT uninstall AutoCAD as there is no need to. The REPAIR should fix the missing items.

Did you try resetting your Profile?
